Chemistry internship

Join the rollercoaster ride

You’ll continue the research that has been done by MSc students from Wageningen University to help us create a coating that is able to withstand long periods of droughts whilst continuously providing mosses with the moist and nutrition they need.

Previous research and tests have reached the following milestones:

  • Attachment of the moss to Respyre’s bioreceptive concrete in both wet and dry circumstances, with no detachment during dry periods
  • Compatibility with moss fragments
  • Sprayable for quick application

Your research should aim to reach/finalize the following milestones:

  • Increase the water retention capacity and time of the coating
  • Decrease the required irrigation need from daily to weekly
The development of the coating is important because it is one of our product’s key components. By doing this research you are contributing to the first product launch of Respyre. You’ll be working in a team of enthusiastic young people with the skills needed to provide you with guidance on an entrepreneurial, educational and personal level. Our team of professors are there to answer your deep-tech questions.

Must haves

  • Assertive and innovative working ethics
  • Access to a lab environment

Nice to haves

  • Network in chemistry sector
  • Ambition to stay at the company after the research
  • Driver’s license

Why join Respyre
